As part of a consortium led by a leading University, we were asked to develop a Portrait-powered simulation for doctors to practice handling vaccine hesitancy in patients and their families (for vaccines like MMR, Flu, and Covid). Portrait is perfectly suited for these types of scenario simulations, as its virtual characters can repeatedly role-play, enabling trainees to experiment with various persuasion techniques to identify the most effective approaches.
The characters authentically mimic human emotions, expressing common concerns and anxieties about vaccines, and can be programmed to respond positively to evidence-based communication strategies.
